Georgia

Georgia is a representative democracy governed as a unitary parliamentary republic. It covers an area of 69,700 square kilometres (26,900 sq mi), and has a population of 3.7 million people. Tbilisi is its capital and largest city, home to roughly a third of the Georgian population. High population density and the increased use of cars make sustainable urban mobility development a crucial issue for the country. Recommendations to improve the national framework for urban mobility are being developed in cooperation with the corresponding Georgian institutions.

There are two cities with Urban Mobility Plans online with a total population of 1.2 million people. The cities range in size from 155,000 people (Batumi) to 1.0 million people (Tbilisi). Both plans are available in English.
